Jaycee Williams, a junior at Berthoud High in Colorado, won the girls varsity small school section at the 16th Desert Twilight Festival by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 18:46.9 at the Coyote Run Golf Course at Leisure World in Mesa, Ariz. Williams helped Berthoud earn eighth overall with 296 points.
